Although she began her design career over 20 years prior, Susan Howard joined the Home On The Range Interiors team in 2002. Before moving to Colorado, Susan worked as in interior designer in Fairfield County, Connecticut, Westchester County, New York and Cincinnati, Ohio. With over two decades in the field, Susan has worked on projects in New England, Kiawah, South Carolina, the Midwest and East Texas.

Early on in her design career, Susan found inspiration through her extensive travels in places such as Germany, Italy, San Francisco, Scandinavia, South America and the Far East.  Her experiences traveling the world and seeing diverse cultures gives her design work a fresh perspective. She currently lives in Steamboat Springs with her husband and three dogs.

Susan also has a great passion for our environment and works hard to continue preserving Steamboat’s beautiful landscape.  She promotes and utilizes different styles of green building practices and products within her own work.  She even designed her own home, a post and beam structure that runs totally off solar power! 

Susan’s extensive and diverse experiences allow her work to stand apart from the rest while maintaining more eco-friendly ways of living. Her enthusiasm and ability to create homes her clients have always dreamed of has led to many lifelong freindships between Susan and her clients.
