Sarah Carr has been working in the Vail Valley interior design field since 1999. Using clean lines and contemporary designs, Sarah brings a natural balance to unique resort spaces. Having designed boutique hotels, ski clubhouses, golf clubhouses and high-end residences, Sarah has established a distinct and timeless style that incorporates sustainability.

After receiving her Bachelor of Interior Design from the College of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma, Sarah’s expertise began when working for well-known design firm Slifer Designs. During her time with Slifer, she designed award-winning resorts such as The Arrabelle Hotel (Vail, Colorado), Old Greenwoord Clubhouse (Truckee, California), and Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club (Jackson Hole Wyoming). Sarah also has extensive experience designing multi-million dollar homes in the Vail Valley, Telluride, Aspen, Jackson Hole, Lake Tahoe, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma and Virginia.

In 2012, Sarah started Sarah Carr Design, a full-service design firm that works with clients on each and every step, from conception to completion. Whether it’s initial planning phases, remodeling, constructing a new home or simply re-designing a space, Sarah’s discerning eye helps to create a unique living space based on each client’s needs.

With a deep passion to create, Sarah focuses on creating spaces for her clients that fit both their individuality and their lifestyle. She is able to balance the resort feel with a classic and effortless atmosphere while always keeping aesthetics in mind.  She also emphasizes the importance of multi-function spaces that truly simplify a client’s life.
