Andrea established ACG Interiors in December 2018 after nearly two decades as a Principal Designer with Slifer Designs. Andrea was awarded a regional Residential Excellence in Design (RED) Award by Luxe Magazine for her work in a Vail, Colorado home.
Born and raised in Boston, MA, Andrea grew up skiing in Northern Vermont. Her love of skiing is what brought Andrea out west to attend Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO.
During her college years she had the opportunity to work for Wellesley Design Consultants in Boston each summer. These work experiences in the design field help her to cement the decision to complete a degree in Interior Design at CSU. After graduation she decided she needed to be closer to ski slopes and moved to the Vail Valley. Andrea now happily shares her love of the mountains with her husband and son.
Looking back at her years in the design business, the road has been exciting with projects and clients in and out of state. The most exciting aspect of the job is that each new project is unique with difference set of parameters.
Andrea's design philosophy is not to have any rules. She believes that when you design you shouldn’t limit yourself to one style, but have an open mind - making spaces a little more eclectic. Her main objective is to ensure that each project she completes reflects the client’s lifestyle and needs.
Over the years Andrea's projects have been published in Colorado Homes & Lifestyles, Mountain Living & Luxe Magazines. In July, 2009, she had the honor to be selected as one of the Top 20 Under 40 in the Colorado design industry by Mountain Living magazine.
